 WRAPID
I was developed
to provide a single layer, flexible enclosure for one
and two hour rated kitchen exhaust ducts, where permitted
by local Authorities. Zero clearance to combustibles is
achieved at the overlap or collar. The two hour fire endurance
rating enables WRAPID I to be used as
an alternative to rigid shaft enclosures or the flexible
two layer fiber systems.
WRAPID ICBO
is the two layer system that meets AC 101 Test criteria
and is to be used in ICBO jurisdictions. The two layers
of 2” tk., 8 PCF WRAPID may be
applied as the Zero Clearance to Combustibles flexible
enclosure on ducts up to 24” X 48”.
Both
WRAPID I and WRAPID ICBO
are available in 24” and 48” widths; and
faced one side or encapsulated with a scrim-reinforced
aluminum foil.
